Rock Climbing Utah: 2nd State Rock Climbing Series

The 2nd State Rock Climbing Series in Utah is a great way to get involved in the climbing community and test your skills against some of the best climbers in the state. The series is open to all levels of climbers, from beginners to experienced competitors. There are four events in the series, each held at a different climbing area in Utah. The first event was held at Little Cottonwood Canyon on April 22nd, the second event was held at Big Cottonwood Canyon on May 13th, the third event will be held at American Fork Canyon on June 10th, and the final event will be held at Zion National Park on September 23rd.

The format of the competition is simple. Climbers will have two hours to complete as many climbs as they can on a given route. The routes will be set at a variety of difficulties, so there will be something for everyone. Climbers will be awarded points for each climb they complete, and the climber with the most points at the end of the series will be crowned the champion.

The 2nd State Rock Climbing Series is a great opportunity to get involved in the climbing community and test your skills against some of the best climbers in the state. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced competitor, there's sure to be something for you in the series.

Prizes

The top three finishers in each event will receive prizes, and the overall series champion will receive a grand prize. The prizes for the series are as follows:

• 1st Place: $500 gift certificate to a local climbing shop
• 2nd Place: $250 gift certificate to a local climbing shop
• 3rd Place: $100 gift certificate to a local climbing shop
• Overall Series Champion: $1,000 gift certificate to a local climbing shop
